How to create the sound of a dog walking?

mioi

On the topic of Foley, can anyone help me out with the sound of a dog walking? The sound of the dog's nails hitting the pavement seems hard to re-create without an actual dog.

Jerome

Get some leather gloves, and gaffer-tape (duct tape for the US...) some paperclips onto the fingers , just protruding past your real fingertips.

The paperclips will do the dog's "nails" and your fingertip will be the pad of the dog's foot.

Kneel on the floor by the foley surface and be the dog's feet with your hands!
